Continuing as our Golden S'more Sponsor Nebraskaland National Bank!!
It is hard to believe this our 6th year! Our 5K and kids mile will be on Saturday, September 24th at 5:00pm. Plan on a fun filled afternoon/evening for the family. We have Splatter Box of Hershey set up with a free laser tag course for all ages ready for play at 2:30pm. The traveling trophies are once again up for grabs!
New this year is the DO YOU DARE HAUNTED TRAIL. This will take place at Old Camp from 8pm to midnight. It is presented by the Knights Softball team and will be sure to get you in the fall spirit! The cost for this event is $5.00 cash please. We always appreciate our Knights Softball team as they do a great job volunteering for us each year. Please show your support by sticking around for their Haunted Trail as this will serve as a fundraiser for their trips this season.
Fixings for S’Mores will be provided for roasting on the open campfires. Please bring your own chairs if you would like to sit around the campfires.
This event is open to everyone. Register online at www.platteriverfitness.com or you can pick up entry forms at Whitetail Screen Print at 507 N. Jeffers or at the Rec Center. Please send or drop off completed entry forms to Whitetail Screen Print by September 15th to guarantee a t-shirt on race day.
There is primitive camping available before and after both events. Feel free to stay for the weekend as there will be several people camping, hiking and mountain biking this weekend.
